| Object:Study the application of new research on the effects of contact force catheter in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. Methods:This research analysis8patients receiving radiofrequency catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation from March2014to May2014in the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University clinic. We use the contact force catheter, which can monitor real-time process of contact force changes in catheter ablation, to guide the procedures effectively. This study describes the ablation procedure of three patients to analyze the experiences of using the contact force catheter. Conclusion:Applicating contact force catheter in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation can reflect the extent of ablation directly, reduce ablation energy and increase security of procedure. FTI mapping can’t reflect the extent of ablation completly, and requires further studies. Avoiding high energy and high contact force at the same time in the procedure, and discharging immediately when noise occurs may help prevent complications such as pericardial tamponade in the ablation procedure. |
