Clinical Observation Combined Duhuo Jisheng Decoction For Treating Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures

Objective:To observe and study of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures caused by (OVCF) in elderly patients percutaneous balloon kyphoplasty with expanded clinical efficacy after oral DUHUOJISHENG after treatment.Methods:This study selected Sichuan Province Chinese Medicine Hospital in August2012to August2013complete the diagnosis and treatment of the OVCF time of year60cases of patients, according to the different treatment modalities into A, B groups, A, B patients were taking unilateral approach single-center bolus method PKP surgery, regular follow-up six months after surgery, A group of patients given oral DUHUOJISHENG at24h after surgery, patients in group B after24h after oral administration of calcium acetate capsules, taking time to three weeks, compare and analyze clinical indicators AB groups in the three days after treatment, in March, different time each June. The clinical indicators are divided into visual analog pain score VAS, fractured vertebral kyphosis Cobb angle, Oswestry disability index and the overall efficacy evaluation.Results:The two groups of patients after treatment for3days in March, the first six months compared with the preoperative VAS index has dropped significantly. After the first three months of treatment VAS indicators no significant differences. However, after treatment in June, A group of subjects VAS score was significantly lower than that in group B subjects, A group of subjects VAS remission rate was significantly higher in group B subjects. Analysis of two groups of subjects injured vertebral kyphosis Cobb angle three days after surgery and treatment before PKP, in March, the difference in June, after statistics, both groups before surgery PKP vertebral kyphosis Cobb angle significantly greater than3days after treatment, in March, June kyphosis Cobb angle, statistics show that in three days, March was no significant difference in the two groups, and after3months treatment in6months a group of Cobb angle is smaller than group B, A set of measured values were significantly lower than group B. A, B groups Oswestry disability index, three days after treatment,3 months6months,6months index was significantly reduced compared with the preoperative between A, B two groups, three days after treatment, no statistically significant difference in March, difference6months after treatment significantly, there are statistically significant.Conclusion:The unilateral pedicle skin can ease into the path of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures in patients with pain after balloon kyphoplasty surgery a greater degree of recovery of part of the vertebral function, and PKP the clinical efficacy of oral surgery combined with postoperative DUHUOJISHENG more prominent.
