Objective:Clinical curative effect observations of Study the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine combine with Exercise therapy scheme to treat ankle joint sprain (chronic ankle joint instability)Methods:The data was collected from the patient who was diagnosed that accorded with ankle sprains (Chronic ankle instability)(TCD code:BGS000),(ICD-10code:S93.401) by orthopedic rehabilitation of hospital outpatient service in Sichuan province and the outpatient of Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine University. With the ways like in a random (Digital random table), blind method (single-blind), compare (before-after study and Comparison between groups), divide patients who got ankle sprains (Chronic ankle instability) into2groups randomly, the treatment group was using internal medicine, external medicine, manipulation, acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine which combined with ankle strength training, endurance training, balance training, proprioception training exercise therapy control group using only traditional Chinese therapy; Control group was treated by traditional Chinese Medicine treatment, the baselines of2groups (Gender, age, weight, height, course, parts) were approximate. AOFAS ankle-hind function score before treatment had no difference (Treatment group in48.72±11.46, Control group in47.59±11.82). The two groups measure the observing targets before the treatment and6weeks after the treatment:Pain degree, Equilibrium index, Peak torque, and AOFAS ankle-foot function score. Subjective scale index using nonparametric statistical method to analyze and measure the t-test, observation of each index before and after treatment the overall score changes, calculate the period, and the adverse reactions were analyzed and evaluated. Results:here were64patients in this clinical research,32cases in the treatment group (Group T), eliminated0case, completed32cases totally;32cases in the control group (Group C), eliminated0case, the total number of completed studies were32cases1. The VAS score of Group T from before treatment5.19±1.44down to six weeks of treatment1.73±1.12, Group C decreased from5.24±1.48to3.23±1.80, before and after the treatment difference was significant. Between the end of the treatment group the difference was statistically significant;2. The overall balance of Group T from pre-treatment to six weeks treatment decreased from0.95±0.53to0.40±0.30; before and after the treatment difference was significant between the end of the treatment group difference was statistically significant; before and after the T group and group C, compared with pre-treatment of internal and external balance index decreased significantly between treatment groups at the end there was a significant difference;3. Ipsilateral ankle plantar flexion peak torque at60°/s,120°/s and dorsiflexion peak torque at60°/s,120°/s indicators, after six weeks treatment, group T was significantly increased, Group C was significantly declined, between the end of the treatment group difference was statistically significant; 4. Group T’s AOFAS ankle-hindfoot function score before treatment was48.72±11.46and risen to six weeks of treatment86.28±8.81, Group C increased from47.59±11.82to62.84±9.87, before and after the treatment difference was significant between the end of the treatment groups there was a significant difference;5. Compare two groups, the improvement rate of Group T was93.75%and Group C was43.75%Conclusion:1. Through this study, we found that using traditional Chinese medicine therapy combined with exercise therapy treatment to treat ankle joint sprain (Chronic ankle instability) was better than the traditional Chinese medicine therapy in clinical efficacy of curative effect.2. The clinical efficacy was considerable that used The traditional Chinese medicine therapy combined with exercise therapy treatment to treat ankle joint sprain (Chronic ankle instability) no obvious complication during the process of the treatment, operation was easy to continue, it had great application and promotion value for the non-surgical treatment likes ankle joint sprain (Chronic ankle instability).
