Objective: To explore the etiology of cubital tunnel syndrome, microsurgery treatment effect.Method: From2010to2014,60cases of cubital tunnel syndrome toour hospital for treatment were all treated with anterior subcutaneoustransposition with microscopically released. According to the entrapmentpart and cause of the ulnar nerve, comprehensive analysis ofincetives, dysmelia, etc,to explore the etiology of cubital tunnelsyndrome. The case classification was according to GuYudongrecommended clinical classification assessment standards of cubital tunnelsyndrome, the treatment results were assessed based on the fuctionalassessment criteria of cubital tunnel syndrome with comprehensive analysisof age, cause, etc. Results: The confirmed the location and causes of ulnar nervecompression of the60patients (63limbs) treated by surgery with cubitaltunnel syndrome. According to the clinical classification assessmentstandards of cubital tunnel syndrome,12patients (12limbs) were dividedinto moderate degree,48cases (51limbs) were divided into severedgree.Follow-up time3to18months,excellent in7cases(7limbs),good in30cases(32limbs),fair in18cases(18limbs),poor in5cases(6limbs),theseshowed61.9%satisfactory results. Conclusions: Comprehensive etiology of this group of patients, inaddition to the common causes reported in the literature, there wereother rare causes, including osteoproliferation oppression, mass oppression, etc. Theanterior subcutaneous transposition with microscopical neurolysis was a reliable treatment for cubital tunnel syndrome. The patients with younger age, shorter duration, lighter intrinsic muscle atrophy obtained better functional recovery.
