The Expression Of PML And PMLâ…£ Gene In Chronic Myeloid Leukemia And Its Clinical Significance

Objective:To investigate whether PML and PMLIV is expressed differently in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients and healthy controls.Methods:Real-time PCR was used to detect the PML and PMLIV expression in bone marrow mononuelear cells from 29 chronic myeloid leukemia patients (chronic phase, 15 cases; 14 cases of patients with advanced stage disease, in which the acceleration period 6 cases, blastic phase 8 cases; and 15 exclude blood system malignant tumor of bone marrow mononuclear cells.Results:1、The mRNA level of PML and PMLIV in CML patients was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant. (P<0.005).2、The expression of PML and PMLIV gene was no statistically significant difference in chronic phase and advanced stage(P>0.05)Conclusion:1、The expression of PML, PML IV gene is declined in chronic myeloid leukemia patients, prompt it may be associated with the happening of CML.2、Whether PML and PMLIV is expressed differently in CML chronic phase and advanced phase still need further study.
