Objective:The study was to explore the comparative of diabetes with retinopathy and withoutretinopathy patients anxiety, depressive symptoms and personality characteristics, look for psychological treatment and corresponding prevention measures.Methods:From April to November 2014 the second affiliated hospital of kunming medical university endocrinology and eye treated 435 patients with diabetes.Among them, accompanied by retinal lesions in 178 cases (group A) and 257 cases without retinopathy (group B).With the method of questionnaire to collect patients’general information, selects the self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS), depression self rating scale (SDS), the big five personality scale (NEO -FFI) these three scale, by eye doctors to assess patients and statistical scores, the final evaluation of two groups of patients with anxiety, depression and personality traits.According to the score, SAS can be divided into mild anxiety, moderate anxiety, severe anxiety;SDS is divided into depression, mild depression, moderate depression and major depression.NEO-FFI from emotional stability, outgoing, open-minded, easy-going and sense of responsibility from five aspects.At the same time, accompanied by retinopathy as dependent variable, with the degree of culture, factors such as high blood pressure, age, alcohol consumption, occupation as independent variables, the analysis with the method of multiple linear regression analysis the influence factors of retinal change degree.Results:Patients in group A,110 cases of mild anxiety, moderate anxiety of 57 cases,11 cases of severe anxiety;No depression,74 cases,53 cases of mild depression, moderate depression 31 cases,20 patients with major depression.Group B patients,181 cases of mild anxiety, moderate anxiety 53 cases,23 cases of severe anxiety;No depression,177 cases,44 cases of mild depression, moderate depression 25 cases,11 cases of severe depression.SAS, SDS scores than group B, group A is definitely too high, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.035< 0.05).A, B group of patients NEO-FFI score results comparison, the B group of patients in outgoing, easygoing, responsibility score higher than group A, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.022< 0.05);In terms of emotional stability of group B patients score was lower than those of group A, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.014< 0.05);Two groups of patients in liberal sexual scale has no obvious difference (P=0.21> 0.05).Multivariate linear regression analysis results showed that the degree of culture, with high blood pressure, age, weight, drinking, professional busy green degree can affect the degree of changes in the retina (P=0.019< 0.05).Conclusion:Compared with those without retinopathy, retinopathy of diabetics are more prone to anxiety, depression, and in the aspect of personality characteristics such as outgoing, easygoing, responsibility rating is low.
