The Clinical Study About The Effects Of Huatan Xiaoliu Decoction Combined With Chemotherapy Against Advanced Non-small-cell Lung Cancer

Objective:Observe the effects of Huatan Xiaoliu Decoction combined with chemotherapy to the clinical symptom and the quality of life of the patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer,and observe the change of sensibility of the lymphocytes to chemotherapeutic drugs(Paclitaxel, Cisplatin),evaluate the clinical efficacy of Huatan Xiaoliu Decoction unite chemotherapy to the patients with lung cancer. Method:Select the type of patients who met the inclusion criteria(phlegm-damp obstructing the lung pattern、IIIb-IV non-small-cell lung cancer) from May 2013 to February 2015, 80 cases were randomly divided into two groups of 40 patients treated group( Huatan Xiaoliu Decoction combined with chemotherapy) and a control group(chemotherapy). Changes were observed in clinical symptoms,.the quality of life,and the change of sensibility of the lymphocytes to chemotherapeutic drugs(Paclitaxel, Cisplatin),and so on. Rusults:(1) Clinical symptom: the difference between two groups about the symptom score before treatment, was not statistically significant; the symptom scores of two groups after treatment were lower than before, the difference was statistically significance(P<0.05); and after treatment, the symptom scores of the treatment group lower than the control group, the difference was highly statistically significant(P<0.05). Explain the treatment group has certain advantages in relief clinical symptoms.(2)Changes in tumor areas: overall tumor response rate(CR + PR), the difference of two groups wasn’t statistically significant(P>0.05); disease control rate(CR + PR + SD), the difference of two groups wasn’t statistical significance(P>0.05).(3) ECOG scores: according to ECOG score results,before treatment, the difference between two groups was not statistically significant; then after treatment,the scores of two groups both significantly reduced than before treatment; after treatment, compared the two groups, the treatment group’s ECOG score was lower, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Tip the treatment group can improve the physical condition of patients.(4)FACT-L Points: Before treatment, the difference of two groups about the quality of life points, wasn’t statistically significant; after treatment, the quality of life scores of two groups both reduced than before;compared with before treatment, the difference was highly statistically significance(P<0.05); between the two groups after treatment, the treatment group was better than the control group at improve the quality of life, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Tip the treatment group on improving the quality of life is better than the control group.(5)T he sensibility of the lymphocytes to chemotherapeutic drugs : Whether Paclitaxel or Cisplatin, the difference between two groups was not statistically significant before treatment; after treatment, both groups were highly statistically significant differences compared with before treatment(P<0.05); the result of sensibility of the treatment groups was better than the control group,the difference was highly statistically significant(P <0.05).Tips the treatment group was better than the control group at improve the sensibility of the lymphocytes to chemotherapeutic drugs.(6) The toxic and side reaction : by rank sum test, bone marrow depression,the difference wasn’t highly statistically significant(P>0.05).and the digestive tract reaction,the difference was highly statistically significant(P<0.05). Tips for protecting the digestive system, the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion: Huatan Xiaoliu Decoction combined with TP chemotherapy was better than the control group at relief the clinical symptom and improve the quality of life of the patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer,improve the treatment efficiency of lung cancer,and improve the sensibility of the lymphocytes to chemotherapeutic drugs(Paclitaxel, Cisplatin).
