Clinical Observation On Yiyang Moxibustion Combined With Rehabilitation Training For Post-stroke Upper Limb Spasticity

ObjectiveIn this paper, we study the clinical effective evaluation of Yiyang moxibustion combined with conventional rehabilitation training on spastic hemiplegia after stroke.We discuss the movement function and the impact of daily life activities ability of patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke. Aimed to explore a simple and effective method of treatment of limb spasm after cerebral apoplexy, in order to reduce cerebral apoplexy patients with limb spasm of negative factors of recovery in the future. Methods60 patients with spastic hemiplegia were randomly divided into Yiyang moxibustion combined conventional rehabilitation training group and routine rehabilitation training in the control group, two groups of patients were routine medical treatment. Rehabilitation training including sport therapy, homework therapy,strength training, etc. The patient treatment once a day,reatment of six days a week;Yiyang moxibustion therapy treatment once a week,two groups of treatment for 8 weeks. Two groups of patients generally found no significant difference after statistics processing, two groups of patients can be compared. two groups of patients with limb spasm before and after treatment was modified Ashworth classification method(MAS), spasm limbs methods of electric diagram root mean square value(root mean square, RMS), Fugl- Meyer movement function score(FMA), daily life activities ability modified Barthel index(BI) as an index of curative effect observation. Results1、 The two groups after 8 weeks of treatment, Fugl- meyer movement function score, the Barthel index score compared with before treatment were increased, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).2、 After 8 weeks of treatment, two groups of patients with the modified Ashworth scale classification and methods of electric measurement data has decreased compared with before treatment,the result have the significant difference before and after(P < 0.05), and the treatment group is better than that of control group(P < 0.05). ConclusionYiyang moxibustion combined rehabilitation training can effectively reduce the stroke patient’s muscle tension, relieve muscle spasm and the improvement of spasm is advantageous to the side at the same time the recovery of limb motor function, improve the ability of patients daily life activities.
