Objective:To investigate neurosyphilis patients with electroneurography, evoked potential(EP) change characteristics, in order to provide neural electrophysiological basis for nerve syphilis diagnosis, and provide reli able indexes for its early diagnosis and reduce the misdiagnosis rate, an d prognosis.Methods:42 cases of neurosyphilis patients, 32 cases of symptomatic neur osyphilis, including parenchmatous neurosyphilis 12 cases(28.6% of the t otal), while Paresis of Insane(GPI) and tabes dorsali collectively referr ed to as the parenchmatous neurosyphilis, including four cases of tabes d orsali(9.52 % of the total), Paresis of Insane 8 cases(19.0% of the tot al); meningeal vascular syphilis in 16 patients(38.1% of the total), fou r cases of the meninges syphilis(accounting for 9.52% of the total), 0%with neuro-syphilitic gumma. Asymptomatic group of 10 cases(23.8% of the total); 20 cases of normal control group(control group), the three grou ps were performed respectively electroneurography, evoked potential(EP)review and comparative analysis.Results:1、The studies have shown that only 4 cases of tabes dorsali of electroneurography suggests that H reflex abnormalities, abnormal perform ance for H reflex did not lead to, the abnormal rate was 12.5%, while the other neurosyphilis group(symptoms) cases of electroneurography found n o exception; At the same time, the researchers also found that nerve syph ilis(asymptomatic group) and control group were only 1 cases suggest NCV abnormalities, anomalies are characterized by performance for the decrea sed of wave—amplitude in the motor and sensory nerve conduction, the abn ormal rate were 10.0% and 5.0% respectively, and the other nerve syphilis(asymptomatic group) and control group cases of electroneurography no abnormalities are found.2、(1) nerve syphilis symptomatic group(group A) a nd asymptomatic group(group B) visual evoked potential(the VEP) value o f P100 latency, respectively(99.78±6.56) and ms(99.30±5.71) ms, compa red with the control group, P100 latency period were significantly extend ed(P<0.05).(2) neurosyphilis symptomatic group(group A) and asymptomat ic group(group B) of the somatosensory evoked potential N20 wave incubat ion period(PL), respectively(18.84±1.45) ms and ms,(18.23±1.04) than the control group, N20 wave incubation period were significantly prolong ed(P<0.05).(3) nerve syphilis symptoms(group A) and asymptomatic group(group B) of the brain stem auditory evoked potential difference betweenⅢ-V wave(IPL), respectively(2.03±0.28) and ms(1.90±0.11) ms and V wave incubation period(PL), respectively(5.93±0.48) ms and ms,(5.74±0.23) were respectively compared with control group, there are obvious, w ith significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1、H reflex of neurosyphilis in some patients with tabes dorsali classification, to some extent, can provide objective basis for spinal nerve root damage.2、The VEP and BAEP, SEP evoked potential is helpful for evaluation of ne urological dysfunction, in order to provide objective basis for clinical position or subclinical damage, and is useful to diagnosis.
