| This study aims to explore rehabilitation methods for pre-language stage of children with autism through developing computer-aided research on joint attention training system, and to provide systematic and effective joint attention training software clinically. The study was divided into three parts: the first part was combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training the children of Autism spectrum disorders(ASDs),the second part was the computer software studies of joint attention game for autistic children and the third one was computer-aided design system of joint attention training intervention trial.Part I: Combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training for autistic childrenObjective: to combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training the children of Autism spectrum disorders(ASDs), to explore the effect of symptoms for ASDs, and find the new way of treatment.Methods: Two autistic children had been involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system. Before and after treatment,two autistic children were assessed in the CARS(Autism Rating Scale), ABC(Autism Behavior Checklist), diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2). The date analyzed in a general description.Results: After combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training the children of Autism spectrum disorders(ASDs).two ASDs children through the evaluation of the ABC, CARS scales. Both of their score has declined, it means the symptoms of autism decreased, the ability is improving, especially in language ability and communication skills. However, Test results are not unanimous in the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive(ZM3.2), one autistic children’s cognitive aspects have been improving, but other children’s cognitive aspect scores decrease slightly.Conclusion:1, combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training the ASDs children.two children’s ability is improving, especially in language and communication.2. The way of combine use of the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2) rehabilitation training system and joint attention to training the ASDs children is possible. But this way does require some understanding and patience of the therapists, teachers and parents.Part II: the computer software studies of joint attention game for autistic childrenObjective: To establish the computer software of joint attention game for autistic children and to explore rehabilitation methods for the children with autism, and to provide systematic and effective joint attention training software clinically.Methods: Through the medium of computer games, we used the discrete trial training and PRT(pivotal response training) of ABA training methods referenced by Whalen and Schreibman.Theelements of the training methods were bound to build the framework of joint attention trainingsystem. We finally established computer models of joint attention games for autistic childrenthrough computer programming.Results: According to the framework of joint attention training system, we designed 8 games. They were games about responding to another game, to the games’ sound, to the showing game,to the eye contact,to follow the finger’s instructions,to follow eyes’ instructions, to the eyes turn, to the original declaration.Conclusion: For pre-language stage autistic children, computer software of joint attention game designed by the use of joint attention theory, ABA joint attention training was feasible.PartⅢ:the computer software studies of joint attention game ’s training effectObjective: we aimed to verify the effectiveness of computer-aided joint attention training system and to explore effective treatment for joint attention training for children with autism. Meanwhile we would like to explore the relationship between joint attention and emotion, imitation, games, language awareness, autism symptom severity.Methods: two autistic children had been involved in the computer-aided joint attention rehabilitation training system. Before and after treatment,two autistic children were assessed in joint attention and action request part of the CARS, ABC, diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders(ZM3.2), ESCS(the early social communication Scale). The dateanalyzed in a general description.Results:1,After the computer-aided joint attention training, the ability of children with autism may tend to be: emotional- joint attention- imitation- games- language, each ability links to each other, complement each other and progress together.2,Along with the joint attention ability improving, the symptoms of autism decreased, especially communication skills. Two autistic children’s cognitive aspects have been improving, mainly in the attention capacity.3, The autistic children need a certain intensity computer-aided joint attention systems’ training in order to maintain the stable development of the strength capacity. In addition, it is necessary for therapists and parents to do generalization training.Conclusion:1, computer-aided joint attention training system for children with autism is feasible.2, After training by computer-aided joint attention training system, there were different degrees of improvement in autistic children’s symptom severity, mood, joint attention, imitation, games, language, cognitive. |
