The Expression And Significance Of Three Extraocular Muscle Autoantibodies With Thyroid Associated Ophthalmopathy

Objective:Comparison of the antibodies in serum levels of calsequestrin, UACA, G2 s in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy(TAO)patients and the Graves’ Disease(GD)patients and the healthy people discussed the effect and characteristics of the three kinds of autoantibodies in the pathogenesis course of TAO.Methods:The subjects were 90 cases, includes three groups of subjects. Among them 38 cases(male 13,female 21) in TAO group, 28 patients(male 11,female 17) in GD group,CON group with 28 cases(male 10,female 18). In this study, We used ELISA to test the serum autoantibodies concentration of calsequestrin, UACA, G2 s.Results:(1)The concentration of anti calsequestrin antibody in the serum of each group(ng/L) were: TAO group 153.0206±104.84868;GD group 99.7002±66.42114; CON group 88.0589±39.73018; TAO group vs CON group P=0.004; TAO group vs GD group P=0.016; group GD vs with group CON, P= 0.604.(2)Concentrations of anti UACA antibody in the serum of each object of study(ng/L) respectively:TAO group 60.5365±38.23955 GD group 46.6286±17.99325;group CON 34.2016±12.59909; TAO group vs CON group P=0.000; comparison, TAO group vs GD group P=0.075; group GD vsh group CON, P=0.002.(3)The concentration of anti G2 s antibody in each research object in serum(m U/L)were: TAO group 68.7604±35.82627 group GD group CON; 64.9248±31.29806;62.6828±18.40611; TAO group vs CON group P=0.478;TAO group vs GD group P=0.654; group GD vs group CON, P=0.799.Conclusions:(1)The expression of anti calsequestrin antibodies in the serum of TAO patients was higher than that in GD patients and healthy controls, the difference was significant(P<0.05);Autoantibodies with calsequestrini eye muscle proteins are associated with ophthalmopathy in patients with TAO and are sensitive markers for eye muscle antoimmunity.(2)Expression of anti UACA antibody in the serum of patients with TAO was higher than that in healthy people, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),did not find the expression of anti UACA antibody in the serum of patients with TAO have differences and expression in the serum of GD patients.;Anti UACA antibody can be used as a clinical marker in patients with Autoimmune diseases.(3)This experiment did not find G2 s in the serum of patients with TAO expression in patients with GD and healthy groups have differences.Key words : TAO; calsequestrin; UACA; extraocular muscle; G2s...
