Clinical Observation Of The Decoction Of Centralizer And Hydragogue Combined With Thoracic Cavity Perfusion With Lung Spleen Deficiency Type Of Lung Cancer Pleural Effusion

Objective:Through the clinical application, efficacy and safety of the decoction of centralizer and hydragogue combined with thoracic cavity perfusion with lung spleen deficiency type of lung cancer pleural effusion.Methods:Collected 65 patients who is meeting the inclusion criteria in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of oncology from 2012 October to 2013 December,then 65 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group 33 cases and control group with 32 cases. The control group was treated with Intrapleural Perfusion (Cisplatin Injection of 60mg/m2 and 20ml of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection) treatment, a Monday, according to the situation to repeat after 7 days, use up to 4 times, evaluation of curative effect of 5 weeks after the last chemotherapy.The treatment group based on the use of traditional Chinese medicine decoction of the decoction of centralizer and hydragogue, one measure each time, three times a day, boiling water, a day oner,5 weeks after the last chemotherapy until the end.Observe and record the changes of pleural effusion, two groups of patients before and after chemotherapy, KPS score, TCM syndrome, gastrointestinal reaction, change of hemogram.Results:(1) The statistical analysis,no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age,amount and location of pleural effusion, pathological type of tumor and KPS score before treatment (P>0.05), comparable; (2) The two groups were compared after the treatment of water change, the total effective rate in treatment group higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); (3) Compared two groups of patients after treatment, KPS score,clinical benefit rate in treatment group than in control group (P<0.05); (4) The two groups were compared the therapeutic efficacy of TCM syndromes, two patients symptoms were improved,but the treatment group than in control group (P<0.05); (5) The comparison inhibition of bone marrow and gastrointestinal reaction of two groups of patients after chemotherapy, the treatment group less than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Liver (ALT/AST) and kidney (blood urea nitrogen and creatinine) had no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The decoction of centralizer and hydragogue combined with pleural infusion chemotherapy can be effective in the treatment of pleural effusion of lung cancer.Improve the quality of life of patients, improve clinical symptoms, reduce the gastrointestinal reaction and the inhibition of bone marrow, but not increase in side effects. Clinical application is safe and effective. It can be used as one of the clinical treatment of lung cancer pleural effusion method, for the further study on the accumulation of experience, in order to increase the Chinese medicine treatment of pleural effusion of lung cancer and explore new ideas.
