| Objective:By observing the effects, the role and the efficacy of the Activating Blood Circulation and Resolving Stasis Medicinal Herbs’s on Diabetic patients with lower limb arteriosclerosis, the author studied patients’clinical indicators including platelet aggregation and fasting plasma glucose (FPG), postprandial blood glucose 2h (2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C), blood lipids (TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C), the changes in blood flow series. The result shows that the Herbs can improve patients’platelet aggregation, inhibition of thrombosis and relieve symptoms of patients, thus providing guidance for clinical practice.Methods:72 diabetic patients with lower limb arteriosclerosis patients were randomly divided into treatment group (38 cases) and control group (34 cases). Moreover, all the patients’daily amount of exercise and total calorie intake were fixed. During 30 days’treatment, the treatment group was given the herbs and alprostadil injection, the other group was given alprostadil injection singly. All the patients’platelet aggregation, fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2h postprandial glucose (2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C), lipids (TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C) and blood rheology series were detected before and after treatment. TCM symptom score method were employed to score for all patients’symptoms before and after treatment.Results:1. In terms of platelet aggregation, the respectively difference of each group before and after treatment (control group t=8.568 P<0.05 treatment group t=13.227 P <0.05) were statistically significant. Before the treatment, the difference between the two groups (t=-0.325 P=0.746) was not statistically significant. While after the treatment, the difference between the two groups (t=3.482 P=0.001) was statistically significant.2. In terms of the clinical effective rate, the difference between the two groups (t= 8.007 P= 0.005) was statistically significant.3. In terms of the index including fasting glucose (control group t=6.447 P<0.001, the treatment group t=7.108 P<0.001), postprandial blood glucose (control group t=7.012 P<0.001, the treatment group t=9.436 P<0.001), mashing hemoglobin value (control group t=7.391 P<0.001, the treatment group t 7.483 P<0.001), TC (control group t=2.147 P=0.034, the treatment group t=2.036 P= 0.044), TG (t=7.826 in the control group P<0.001, the treatment group t=2.035 P= 0.042), LDL-c (control group, t=2.958 P=0.034, the treatment group t=3.272 P=0.001) and FINS (control group t=-1.991 P=0.046, treatment group t== 3.237 P=0.001), the respectively differences of each group before and after treatment were statistically significant. The comparison between the two groups before and after treatment was not statistically significant. Index including high shear whole blood viscosity (t=10.162 P <0.001), whole blood shear viscosity (t=6.730 P<0.001) and low shear viscosity of whole blood (t=9.410 P<0.001) in the treatment group before and after treatment were statistically different. While in the control group, high shear whole blood viscosity (t 1.877 P=0.062), whole blood shear viscosity (t=1.676 P=0.096) and low shear viscosity of whole blood (t=1.663 P=0.098) before and after treatment, were not statistically significant.Conclusion:The study shows that, the Activating Blood Circulation and Resolving Stasis Medicinal Herbs, aiming to supplement the vital energy and nourish Yin and promote blood circulation, can lower blood sugar, regulate lipid metabolism, improve the patient’s platelet aggregation, reduce the level of blood flow changes and restrain the form of thrombus, thus have good effects on diabetic patients with lower limb arteriosclerosis. |
