Objective: To investigate the relationship between the function of cardiovascular system and hyperthyroidism by studying the cha nges of carotid artery elasticity in patients with hyperthyroidism. Methods: A total of 50 cases of hyperthyroidism in July 2014 to December 2015 were as hyperthyroidism group, of which 40 were female, male 10 cases, age 14 to 55 years old, mean age(30.6±5.4). Select 40 cases of healthy people as the normal control group, including 32 cases of female, male 8 cases, age between ag ed 15-53, average(33.4±5.0) years old, asked medical history, phy sical examination, thyroid function tests showed no abnormality. At the same time detection selected of TT3, TT4, FT3, FT4, TSH le vel. All subjects underwent carotid ultrasound examination and eval uation of the common carotid artery elasticity index: stiffness β, c omply with the AC and pressure strain elastic coefficient EP. 40 c ases of hyperthyroidism patients in 6 months after the review, will be divided into different subgroups of hyperthyroidism patients ac cording to the illness symptoms, and in the control group were compared, and between subgroups were also compared after data ana lysis. All statistical analysis with SPSS13.0 software packet analysi s to complete, P < 0.05 that there was a statistically significant di fference.Results:(1) The hyperthyroidism group SBP(126±10 mm Hg),PP(50±6 mm Hg), HR(85±17 beats/min), DBP(70±15 mm Hg), h ealthy control group, SBP(110±15 mm Hg), PP(32±9 mm Hg), HR(70±2 beats/min), DBP(75±4 mm Hg). Four groups of data in the hyperthyroidism group the SBP, PP and HR compared with the c ontrol group increased significantly, and DBP decreased compared with the control group, P<0.05. thyroid function related to the two groups of data phase comparison are P<0.05.(2) In hyperthyroidism group EP(121.32±30.41 k Pa) and β(9.30±3.12), AC(0.61±0.17 mm2/k Pa) in the healthy control group(E P 95.36±29.78 k Pa) and β(7.07±2.56), AC(0.78±0.20 mm2/k Pa). Three groups of data, the EP and beta of the hyperthyroidism gro up were increased compared with the control group, and AC were lower than the control group. Results were P<0.05.(3) There was no significant correlation between the severity of the disease and the degree of swelling and the parameters of th e patients with.Ep, β, which was positively correlated with the cou rse of disease, and AC was negatively correlated with the course of disease.(4) Treatment of hyperthyroidism in the former group blood v essel elasticity index EP(120.13±29.20 k Pa) and β(9.30±1.01), A C(0.61±0.15 mm2/k Pa). After the treatment of EP group(111.16±30.02 k Pa) and β(80.97±1.05), AC(0.60±0.15 mm2/k Pa). Three gro ups of data are compared with P > 0.05, with statistical significan ce.Conclusion:(1) The vascular elasticity parameters are related to FT4, FT3, TT3, TT4, and TSH.(2) There was a significant chang e in the vascular elasticity index in patients with hyperthyroidism, which caused the change of vascular elasticity, and was slower tha n the recovery of hemodynamics.(3) There was no significant corre lation between the vascular elasticity index and the degree of the disease and the degree of thyroid enlargement, but it was related t o the duration of the disease. |
