| Objective:Discussion one-stage debridement,two-stage of internal traction technology,with sural nerve flap covering the clinical efficacy of infection in patients after surgery for the repair of Achilles tendon rupture. Method:A retrospective analysis from June 2012 to September 2015 in our hospital who were infection afrer the repair of the Achilles tendon rupture.A total of 9 patients one-stage debridement,two-stage use of absorbable sutures constructed the Achilles growing space, with sural nerve flap coverage of soft tissue defects,Two weeks after surgery orthosis appropriate functional exercise. The clinical outcome was evaluated include the calf circumference,the maximal heel-rise height,the heel-rise duration of time,and using the ATRS system. Result:The mean follow-up period was 14 months,9 cases of tissue flaps were all survived.The Limb morphology and function satisfactory recovery,No lameness,infection and rerupture. Patients after operation had no significant differences between the injured and uninjured side for both calf circumference,the maximal heel-rise height,the heel-rise duration the time,and the ATRS.The calf circumference(mean[SD]difference,0.16±0.36 cm,P=0.23)and the maximal heel-rise height(mean[SD] difference,0.70±1.14 cm,P=0.10) and the heel-rise duration the time(mean[SD]difference,2.22±3.83 s,P=0.12),The mean ATRS score was 86.8 at the Last follow-up after surgery. Conclusion:one-stage debridement, two-stage of internal traction technology,with sural nerve flap covering resulted in good clinical outcomes for the treatment of infection in patients after surgery for the repair of Achilles tendon rupture. |
