Objectives: To compare the short and long term clinical efficacy of pulsed radiofrequency and nerve block in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.Method: 42 patients with periarthritis shoulder were randomly divided into two groups, each of 21 cases. Control group: the Scapular nerve and shoulder pain points each injection mixing liquid 3~6ml, 1 times a week, a total of three times. Observer group: the use of pulsed radiofrequency regulation for the treatment of the Scapular nerve and shoulder pain points, then give the Scapular nerve and shoulder pain points each injection mixing liquid3~6ml, To compare the visual analog scale(VAS) and the Oxford Shoulder Score(OSS)of Two groups of patients before and after treatment.Result: the difference between two groups of patients before and after treatment of VAS and OSS was statistically significant(P < 0.01).Conclusion: The two groups of patients after treatment, pain and shoulder mobility improved than before treatment, the two groups had no significant difference in the short-term efficacy, observation group was better than the control group in the long-term efficacy.
