Relationship Between Elderly Hip Fracture And Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution

Objective:Through theoretical and clinical research to investigate the relationship between the elderly hip fracture and TCM constitution and analysis the TCM constitution types of elderly hip fracture to aviod constitution types of elder person who has high risk of fracture suffer from hip fracture.Methods:1. Realize the development and clinical application of the TCM constitution and hip fracture by the early theoretical research;2. Clinical research in based on the previous theoretical study.Investigate the TCM constitution types of 190 persons who do not suffer from hip fracture and187 persons who suffer from hip fracture by "the classification and determination of TCM Constitution self-test table”.And then analyze the difference between two groups and the difference of the TCM constitution types distribution of elderly hip fracture patients After statistical treatment.Results:1. There was no difference between two groups in the sex and the age, which was comparable(sex X2=1.087 a,p=0.297>0.05;age t=1.864,p=0.063>0.05);2.Two groups have difference in TCM constitution types distribution(x2=56.202 a,p=0.000<0.01);3.The results of TCM constitution types distribution in 187 cases of hip fractures : The number of the Qi deficiency constitution is 51 cases(27.3%),The number of the Yin deficiency constitution is 39 cases(20.9%), The number of the Yang deficiency constitution is 31 cases(16.6%), The number of the blood stasis constitution is 25(13.4%), The number of the qi stagnation constitution is 14 cases(7.5%), The number of the phlegm dampness constitution is 11cases(5.9%),The number of the balance constitution is 10 cases(5.3%), The number of the dampness heat constitution is 4 case( 2.1%),The number of the constitution of tebing is 2 cases(1.1%);4.The number of male of the Oi deficiency constitution is 18 cases,while The number of female is 33 cases; The number of male of the Yin deficiency constitution is 15, while The number of female is 24 cases; The number of male of the yang deficiency constitution is12 cases,while The number of female is19 cases; The number of male of the blood stasis constitution is 5cases, while The number of female is 20 cases;Conclusion:1.Two groups have difference in TCM constitution types distribution;2.9 kinds of traditional Chinese constitution types generally exist in 187 cases of elderly hip fracture patients.Qi deficiency constitution, yin deficiency constitution, Yang deficiency constitution, blood stasis constitution are the main types of hip fracture in Kunming area;3. The number of females are more than The number of males in constitution of TCM;4. through the study of traditional Chinese constitution of the elderly hip fracture patients,Screening the high risk of traditional Chinese constitution in the elderly hip fracture patients,and be able to prevent old patients suffer from hip fracture;...
