A Research On The Heritage About The Experience Of Cough Treatment By Feiboxiong From Menghe Medical School

Objective:Excavate and analysis the special theory and characteristic prescription of XU dihua and SHEN chunti,the descendants of Menghe medical school of the Feishi,for treating cough,by using Software of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system(TCMISS).Sum up then-experience and composition rules for cough,discuss their Special Theory of Cough Treatment,conclude the heritage about theory on cough treatment of Menghe medical school Feishi and his descendants,to make contributions to the heritage and development of Chinese medicine.Method:By combining the methods of collect retrospective cases,select clinical out-patient cases,data entry and data analysis system. Collect retrospective cases of XU dihua for treating cough during the period of 2002 to 2012, select clinical out-patient cases of SHEN chunti for treating cough during the period of 2014.12 to 2015.12.Then establish database, input 167 cases of XU dihua and 60 cases(153 clinic visits in total) of SHEN chunti to the Software of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system to data-analyze,which was developed by the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences(CACMS). Utilize SPSS Clementine 22.0 to carry out the clinical outcome of treating cough by Teacher SHEN.Result:1. Results of the theory and characteristic prescription rules of XU dihua for treating cough XU dihua is good at syndrome differentiation,he establishes the basic treatments as dispelling wind and regulating the lung, clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, moistening lung and sending down abnormally ascending. For acute cough which caused by external affection,Pro.Xu pay attention to dispell wind and reduce phlegm;for chronic cough due to internal injuries, Pro.Xu takes care of both tip and root, focuses on other viscera certains’s functions. Pro.Xu chooses drugs accurately,combine the cold and moisture drugs together.His commonly used drugs are:platycodon grandiflorum, ephedra, cicada slough, angelica decursiva and loquat leaf to disperse wind and ventilate lung to relieve a cough; semen armeniacae amarae,cortex mori radicis and coltsfoot flower to moisten lung to relieve a cough; earthworm to relieve spasm;baicalin and cordate houttuynia to remove heat; radix scrophulariae and ophiopogon japonicas to nourish lung yin; pinellia and poria cocos to tonify spleen.2. Results of the theory and characteristic prescription rules of SHEN chunti for treating cough Teacher Shen think the key pathogenesis of cough are:wind evil invaded the lung; impairment of purifying and descending function of the lung; the combination of phlegm and the blood stasis. Teacher Shen combined disease diagnosing and syndrome differentiation together,based on Pro. Shen’s characteristic prescription rules, Teacher Shen pays attention to regulate the lung and removie blood stasis,tonify the lung and kidney as well. She uses herba schizonepetae,sophora flavescens to disperse wind and relieve sore throat; cicada slough, earthworm to relieve spasm; ligusticum wallichii and salvia miltiorrhiza to removie blood stasis;schisandra chinensis and Zi Shiying to tonify the kidney to improve inspiration.Conclution:By the analysis of data-mining,we come to the conclusion that:MengHe medical school of Fei worship the classic but not limited.They lay stress on syndrome differentiation, Pro.Xu takes the traditional theory as the foundation,developed and innovated a lot,he came up with traditional syndrome quantitative to enrich the treatment according to syndrome differentiation of cough. Teacher Shen combined disease diagnosing and syndrome differentiation together,which also make traditional syndrome differentiation advance a lot. MengHe medical school of The Fei do well in regulating the lung, moistening the lung and nourishing yin, fortifing the spleen and harmonizing the stomach.His descendants based on that, take the holism concept of traditional Chinese medicine as principle, unite the environment, body constitution and modern medicine,focus on regulating the lung and removing blood stasis,as well as tonifing the lung and kidney,taking care of spleen and harmonizing the stomach.
