| ObjectiveTo further discuss the mechanism of gastrointestinal dysmotility rehabilitation with acupuncture, this research used the "3-Leg point", one of the Jin’s 3-needle therapy’s member, to recovery the gastrointestinal motility, which was injured in Colorectal Cancer Resection, and compared the content of miR-222 in the organization. In clinical part, the comparison of general supportive care and acupuncture was made in order to proving the acupuncture is better than the general supportive care in this case. And the same time, comparing the content of miR-222 in the organization, the researcher wanted to expound the relationship between the difference of miR-222 in the normal organization and in the carcinoma, as well as the mechanism of acupuncture to cure this kind of disease. The controlled and randomized clinical part could offer a strong support of evidence-based medicine to acupuncture treatment on gastrointestinal dysmotility after Colorectal Cancer Resection.Methods32 patients, who suffered from gastrointestinal dysmotility after Colorectal Cancer Resection, was selected out according to the diagnostic criteria, after excluding 6 patients according to the exclusion criteria, the rest was divided into two groups randomly. One of them was treated by using the general supportive care, the other group was treated by using the acupuncture as soon as the patients woke and the lower extremity’s feeling recovery, choosing ST36, SP6, LR3 as the main point, at most for five days. During the treatment, another 2 cases was excluding, finally,24 cases was in this research (twelve of each). Observed the first time of exhaust and defecation, and the time of the the tube removal after operation. Observed the situation of abdominal pain and swelling. Observed the content of miR-222 in the organization, that 8 cases come from the general supportive care group, the other 4 cases come from the acupuncture group, and compare all the details.Resultsl.The time of first exhaust after operation:The time in the group of acupuncture was significantly shorter than that in the group of general supportive care(P< 0.01).2. The time of first defecation after operation:The time in the group of acupuncture was significantly shorter than that in the group of general supportive care(P<0.01). The difference of the quality of first defecation between two groups had no significant meaning(P>0.05).3.The time of the tube removal:The time in the group of acupuncture was significantly shorter than that in the group of general supportive care(P <0.01).4. Grade of Abdominal pain:The grade change from before and after treatment in the group of acupuncture was significantly greater than that in the group of general supportive care(P< 0.01).5. Grade of Abdominal swelling:The grade change from before and after treatment in the group of acupuncture was significantly greater than that in the group of general supportive care(P< 0.01).6.The content of miR-222 in the organization:The difference of the content in the carcinoma between two groups had no significant meaning(P>0.05).The difference of the content in the normal organization and in the carcinoma had significant meaning(P< 0.05), the carcinoma’s was more than the normal part’s.7. Efficacy evaluation:The group of acupuncture had significant difference with the group of general supportive care in the therapeutic grade and total effective rate(P< 0.01).8. Relationship between Evaluation and miR-222:Although there is a trend that lower miR-222 content leads to the better prognosis, however, it had no significant meaning, probably because the cases is too few to be significant.Conclusion1. Based on the general supportive care, using acupuncture with "3-Leg point" can effectively shorten the time of first exhaust and defecation after the operation, besides, it can also cure the situation of abdominal pain and swelling.2.MiR-222 is normally observed in the carcinoma of the colorectal cancer patient, and usually be found less in the normal part.3. The content of miR-222 may affect the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal motility after the colorectal cancer surgery and the efficacy of acupuncture, but still need to increase the sample size to confirm it. |
