Objective:To observe the efficacy of cognitive function in Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) after the drug therapy or dury and Auricular Therapy,to explore a treatment which has clinical value for the cognitive function of MCI.Methods:In this study, The MMSE&MOCA scale were used to evaluate the cognitive function, reference to the International MCI Working Group and the European Association of Alzheimer’s Disease Working Group on MCI MCI diagnostic criteria for screening elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment subjects. A randomized open drug methods. We studied the cognitive function of MCI, A total of 90 case MCI come from the Department of Neurology of the Third Hospital of Xiamen City. They are randomly divided into Group A 28 cases and they received drug therapy(cinnarizine, methylcobalamin, piracetam, Salvia tablets), Group B 31 cases and they received drug (the same as Group A)and auricular therapy, and Group C 31 cases received no therapy, the total observation period of 12 months. To observe the changes in cognitive function of MCI after drug administration or drug combinated with auricular therapy, objectively evaluate of the effect of the intervention.Results:1) Compared to the initial MMSE&MOCA scale assessment scores, the experimental group A and B scale assumedd the trend of increasing during the study, the experimental group C tended to decrease.2) It has no statistically significant difference between group A and group B in each period of MMSE, MOCA(P>0.05); It has no statistically significant difference between group A and group C in each period of MOCA, nor the 1,3,6 months of MMSE(P>0.05), while it has statistically significant difference in the 12 months of MMSE(P<0.05); It has no statistically significant difference between group B and group C in the 1,3,6 months of MMSE and MOC A score(P>0.05), while it has statistically significant difference in the 12 months of MMSE and MOCA(P<0.05).3) The visual space/executive function, attention, computing power, memory and delayed memory have obvious changes, disorientation, abstraction, naming, language are stable. No adverse reactions observed during the three groups of subjects. Conclusion:Drug or combined with Auricular therapy can delay the progress of cognitive dysfunction in MCI, drug combined with Auricular therapy may be better than medication. |
