Objective: To investigate the expression of IL-33 in tumor tissues, paracancerous tissues and normal tissues of gastric cancer patients, and to explore the correlation between the expression of IL-33 and the clinicopathological parameters of gastric cancer. Methods: The relative expression of IL-33 m RNA in tumor tissues, paracancerous tissues and normal tissues of gastric cancer was detected by Quantitative Real-time PCR.At the same time, the expression of IL-33 in tumor tissues, paracancerous tissues and normal tissues were verified by immunohistochemistry analysis. To analyze the relationship between the age, sex, tumor size, differentiation, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and other clinical pathological parameters. Results: The qPCR results by statistical analysis showed that the expression of IL-33 m RNA in paracancerous tissues was the highest, normal tissue times and tumor tissues was least; Immunohistochemical results showed that IL-33 expression was highest in paracancerous tissues, the expression of IL-33 was second in normal tissue, and the expression of IL-33 in tumor tissues was the least; In paracancerous tissue, IL-33 expression and lymph node metastasis was significantly correlated(P<0.05), and gastric cancer patients with gender, age, tumor size, degree of differentiation, TNM staging without significantly correlated(P>0.05).Conclusion:The expression of m RNA IL-33 was the highest in paracancerous tissues, the expression in normal tissue was in the second, and the least in tumor tissues,IL-33 played a role in the anti-tumor effect of gastric cancer. In paracancerous tissues, the expression of IL-33 was negatively correlated with lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer, and IL-33 played an important role in lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer. The expression of IL-33 was not related to the age, sex, tumor size, degree of differentiation and TNM stage.
