| Objective:To observe the effect of Shendibushen Capsule on kidney function and Snail 〠E-cadherin protein expression of unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO)caused renal interstitial fibrosis rats.To illustrate the mechanism of Shendibushen Capsule on protecting kidney function and delaying renal interstitial fibrosis.Methods:The 70 male SD rats were randomly divided into five groups:normal group,sham operation group,model group,Niaoduqing group,Shendibushen group.Each group had 14 rats.These rats were given daiy intragastric administration after confirming that models were successfully mad continuously for 28 days.The Niaoduqing group given with Niaoduqing granule.The Shendibushen group given with Shendibushen Capsule.The rest groups given with normal saline.The general state of the rats and the change of Scr 〠BUN were observed before and after treatment.HE staining method for renal pathologic slice were used to observe the pathological change of the experimental rats kidney tissue.Immunohistochemical method was performed on renal tissue to detect the expression of Snailã€E-cadherin.Results : The general state of Shendibushen group were significantly better than model group.The pathological change of Shendibushen group were lower than model group.The serum Scr and BUN levels of Shendibushen group were obviously decreased than model group at 35 th day( P <0.05).The Snail expression in nephridial tissue of Shendibushen group was obviously decreased than model group and the E-cadherin expression was obviously increased than model group at 35 th day( P <0.05).Conclusion : To a certain extent,Shendibushen Capsule can improve the general state of UUO rats and reduce the level of BUN and Scr.Shendibushen Capsule can reduce the pathological changes of kidney of UUO rats.Shendibushen Capsule may be through inhibiting the expression of Snail and increasing the expression of E-cadherin to delay the progression of renal interstitial fibrosis. |
