| Objective:To explore the relativity between the serum interleukin-6 levels and TCM Syndromes of phlegm and blood stasis among Coronary Heart Disease (stable angina) patients. Methods:Collect 122 cases of Coronary Heart Disease (stable angina) patients, count the integral elements of TCM syndromes in patients, and measure their interleukin-6 levels. Then analyses the relativity between the interleukin-6 levels and TCM Syndromes of phlegm and blood stasis among these Coronary Heart Disease (stable angina) patients. Results:The levels of Interleukin-6 are different:"phlegm" group, was significantly higher than that in the "non phlegm" group, P= 0.000; "blood stasis" group, was significantly higher than that in the "non blood stasis" group, P= 0.000; "phlegm and blood stasis" group, significantly higher than the" non Phlegm Blood stasis" group, P= 0.000; "phlegm and blood stasis group", was significantly higher than that of blood stasis"group, P= 0.005;"phlegm and blood stasis group", was significantly higher than that of phlegm "group, P= 0.000;"phlegm" group, significantly higher than the" non Phlegm Blood stasis" group, P= 0.002; The level of interleukin-6 was positively correlated with the score of blood stasis syndrome and phlegm syndrome.Conclusion:1.Interleukin-6 levels with coronary heart disease (CHD) patients, are closely related with TCM Syndromes of phlegm and blood stasis.Interleukin-6 levels are significantly higher, when both of the syndromes exist, compared with the situation that patients have non phlegm or blood stasis,or only have one of this two syndromes.2.Interleukin-6 levels compared between "blood stasis" and "phlegm" groups does not exist significant differences. The method of differential diagnosis still need further study. |
