Curative Effect Observation Of Fractional CO₂ Laser Combined With SUILE In The Treatment Of Hypertrophic Scars

Objective:To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of hypertrophic scars with fractional CO2 laser combined with SUILE.Methods:40 patients of hypertrophic scar were collected in Plastic Surgery Clinic of Jiangsu Province Hospital.The patients were divided into experimental and control group.The experimental group was treated by fractional CO2 laser combined with SUILE.The control group was treated by fractional CO2 laser with chlorotetracycline eye ointment. All patients to treat twice as a course of treatment, each treatment interval of two months. Recording Pain index, wound healing time, Vancouver scar scale score,histological staining to assess, at the same time recording adverse reactions that occur during the duration of their treatment.Results:1. Histological observation find that collagen is sparse in the experimental group and dense in the control group.And the infiltration of inflammatory cells in the control group is more obvious than in experimental group.2. After the end of a course of treatment, pain scores of the experimental group lower than the control group(p<0.05), the difference was statistically significant;3.Experimental wound healing time is significantly less than the control group(p<0.01), the difference has statistical significance;4.No significant difference (P> 0.05) between the experimental group and the control group scar score befre treatment; after treatment, the experimental group scarring scores were significantly less than the control group (P<0.05); After treatment scar scores significantly less than before treatment (P<0.01).5.The experimental group total effective rate was higher than the control group (P<0.05);6. Slight pain were arised in both groups, after symptomatic treatment, the symptoms were relieved.The comparison of two groups had no statistic significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of hypertrophic scars with fractional CO2 laser combined with SUILE is distinct,and there is no serious adverse reaction occurred, high safety.Therefore this treatment is worth to be promoted in clinical.
