Objective:To investigate the short-term efficacy and side effects in the treatment of raltitrexed monotherapy for advanced colorectal carcinoma patients.Methods:Collect and analysis of clinical data of 52 cases with advanced colorectal cancer diagnosed by pathology from January 2012 to December 2015 in Yunnan Provincial Tumor Hospital, the patients were treated with raltitrexed monotherapy 3 mg/m2 ivgtt 15 minutes, were given on a 21 days cycle, evaluation of efficacy by RESIST 1.1 and safety by NCI-CTC3.0 of each 2 cycles until disease progression or appear toxicity which patients cannot tolerate, the short-term effect and toxicities were analyzed.Results:Efficacy evaluation:after 2 cycles treatment, the objective response rate (ORR) was 19.2%(10/52), disease control rate (DCR)was 51.9%(27/52),4 cycles treatment, ORR was 22.2%(6/27), DCR was 55.6%(15/27),6 cycles treatment, ORR was 13.3%(2/15), DCR was 33.3% (5/15). After 2 cycles treatment,the main toxic reactions were transaminase elevation 38.5%(20/52), neutropenia26.9%(14/52),nausea and vomiting 25.0%(13/52) and feeble 23.1%(12/52).Conclusion:the raltitrexed monotherapy is effective and safe in treatment of advanced colorectal carcinoma patients.
