| Objective: To investigate the clinical and pathological features of the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer operation, the factors related to local recurrence, metastasis and survival of postoperative effects, to provide evidence for the surgical treatment of our clinicians to triple- negative breast cancer. Methods: A retrospective analysis from 2002 January to 2006 July in Tumour Hospital Affiliated to Tianjin Medical University were confirmed pathologically according clinical pathological data of 502 patients with triple- breast cancer patients treated with parallel operation, summarized the clinical and pathological features in patients with the clinical pathological factors, analysis of the relationship and the influence of related factors of patients with postoperative local recurrence, distant metastasis and survival time. Follow up the follow-up system, telephone, letters and other follow-up until 2012 July, the date of inquiry, including whether the survival and recurrence or metastasis of patients. Definition: The survival time of disease-free survival(Disease Free, Survival, DFS), refers to the date of operation to any part of the time to recurrence and metastasis. The overall survival time(Overall, survival, OS): the calculation method for the diagnosis of patients since the death date to the disease time, reason of death which breast cancer causes of death and non breast cancer reason of death. Statistical analysis using SPSS l9.0 software, the clinical pathological data described by the percentage of clinical pathology, comparison between groups using theχ2 test, the survival rate was calculated by Kaplan- Meier, Log- rank test was used to analyze the survival significance test, multi factor analysis of Cox proportional hazards, P < 0.05 is defined as the difference was statistically significant. Results:The whole group of 502 patients were female, ranging in age from 19 to 85 years old, the median age was 52 years, 26 cases of 35 years old, 36 ~ 65 years old in 415 cases, 61 cases, 65 years; in 502 cases, 54 cases were death, tumor related deaths occurred in 92 cases and recurrence; patients with distant metastasis, 54 cases died, the other 41 patients survived with tumor. Follow up of 60 months for all patients, 5 year disease free survival rate(5-year DFS), overall survival(OS) were 81.8%, 88.9%. Single factor analysis showed: the pathological types, postoperative radiotherapy, operation mode, no tumor size and axillary lymph node metastasis are the related factors of recurrence and metastasis in patients with postoperative(P < 0.05); age, tumor size, axillary lymph node metastasis in patients with total number and storage time(P < 0.05).The results of multivariate analysis showed that: tumor size, axillary lymph node metastasis were independent factors affecting the disease free survival(P < 0.05); age, tumor size, axillary lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors for overall survival time(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Age, tumor size and axillary lymph node metastasis are important prognostic factors for triple- negative breast cancer, clinicopathological characteristics of breast cancer of triple- negative is unique, it is necessary to evaluatie the treatment and prognosis comprehensively. |
