OBJECTIVE: Tested liver stiffness in chronic hepatitis B patients by FibroScan and discussed correlation with serum sfas/sFasL. METHODS: Tested LSM of 100 cases of hepatitis B patients by FibroScan, then took venous blood, and ELISA method for the determination of serum sfas/sFas L. In normal control group, detected with LSM and serum sfas/sFasL. RESULTS:LSM of Mild, moderate and severe patients was respectively 8.2±1.1kPa, 9.1±2.3kPa, 11.4±2.7kPa, and LSM of normal control group was 4.3±3.1kPa, and there was correlation between liver inflammation and LSM(rs=0.645,P=0.000). Mild, moderate and severe patients with sFas were respectively 4.26±1.53 pg/ml,4.75±1.72 pg/ml,5.68±1.42pg/ml, normal control group, sFas was 2.87±1.24pg/ml. There was no correlation between the severity of inflammation and sFas(rs =0.538,P=0.001). mild, moderate and severe patients with sFasL were5.67±1.42pg/ml,9.42±2.60pg/ml, 15.53±3.78pg/ml,normal control group, sFas L was 2.57±1.68pg/ml, There was correlation between the severity of inflammation and sFas L(rs=0.734,P=0.000). LSM and sFas had correlation(r=0.998,P=0.002), LSM and sFasL had correlation(r=0.940,P=0.060). CONCLUSION: LSM, serum aFas and sFasL levels were significantly higher than those of normal control group, suggesting that it might play an important role in the occurrence and development of CHB disease, serum aFas and sFasL level could be used as an important index to judge the changes of the disease.
