| Objective: This study use the Blood oxygen level dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging(BOLD fMRI) technology, to study the activation of anisometropia amblyopia children’s visual cortex before and after treatment, and to explore the end point of treatment of the anisometropia amblyopia children.Methods: In this study, there are 13 anisometropia amblyopic children(males 6 cases, females 7 cases),age from 4 to 12, participate in this test, The average age of these children was 7.3±2.5. This study is a forwads research,so there are 10 children are belong with the early research.There are three children brought into this test this time.These children were divided into 2 groups(4-7 years old and 8-12 years old). All these children are hyperopia amblyopia, watching center concave;Right-handed.Anisometropia within 3.00 ~ 6.00 D.Check all these children with the position of eye, anterior segment and fundus were normal,center view without defect;They didn’t have other serious eye disease except for amblyopia. Magnetic resonance imaging excluded from the retina to knee body disease, there are no other diseases history of whole body. Fully correct refractive errors in children before test.With the standardized treatment,review fMRI test after treatment 18 months,24 months and end the treatment 6 months.Experimental data acquisition using SIEMENS MAGNETOM Verio 3 t magnetic resonance scan system, visual stimulus presentation using brain auditory stimulation system(shenzhen medical virtue, SAMRTEC, SA- 9900). The design of the task programs are written using E-Prime 2.0 software. In the handling room,there is a vision simulating apparatus in it.The stereo image via that apparatus projecting on the high quality vinyl screen to produce a visual stimulating. Using the BLOCKS design, this design is composed of activated state and control state.The pattern of the stimulate use the random-dot stereograms which image contrast close to 80%.The pattern of the control state is a fixed black “+†in the central of the screen.Collect all the data experimental images into a Windows 8 64- bit operating system workstations, offline processing. Data processing based on MATLAB7.12.0.635 SPM8 packages, the version number r4290. Use the random effect method get these children’s visual cortex activation state matrix of the data.And use these data proceeding on their own matching t test(test threshold is set to p < 0.001, there is statistical significance, not multiple correction).Results: The activation ranges in all these periods are Brodmann 7,17,18,19;After normalized treatment 24 months( mean T was 1.014, 1.6856 respectively( p>0.001).) and after treatment 6 months( mean T was 0.9793, 1.6856 respectively( p>0.001).)the increasing of the activation ranges in visual cortex is unconspicuous.Conclusion:1.After using standardized combination therapy treatment, Anisometropia amblyopic children’s brain cortex activation area are expanded significantly than before the treatment.2.In children anisometropic amblyopia, the speed of function reconstruction about visual cortical functional mediating stereopsis stop after amblyopia treatment 2 years. |
