PARTâ…  ACOUSTIC RADIATION FORCE IMPULSE IMAGING IN MEASUREMENT OF KIDNEY CORTEX ELASTICITY IN NORMAL CHILDRENObjective : To explore value of virtual touch tissue quantification(VTQ) in measure of kidney cortex elasticity in normal children. Methods : Totally 600 children underwent acoustic radiation force impulse imaging(ARFI), shear wave velocity(SWV) values were compared among different age, different gender and different sides of chidren. Kidney length was measured in 372 children and SWV values were compared among different kidney length. Sampling location(the middle pole and the lower pole) was measured in 200 children and SWV value were cmpared between the middle pole and the lower pole of kidney.4C-1 and 9L-4 probe were applicated in 31 children and SWV value were compared between chidren using different probes. Results:There were significant differences of SWV among different age group and different kidney size( P<0.05); there were no significant differences of SWV among different gender, different sides, different sampling location and different probes( P>0.05).Conclusion : ARFI has certain clinical value in the kidney elastography of normal children.PARTâ…¡ EVALUATION OF GLOMERULAR DISEASE RENAL DAMAGE IN CHILDREN BY ACOUSTIC RADIATION FORCE IMPULSE IMAGINGObjective: To explore the value of ARFI in children with Glomerular disease. Methods: Totally 228 cases diagnosed with glomerular disease who accepted the renal biopsy and confirmed by pathological and 200 healthy children underwent acoustic radiation force impulse imaging(ARFI) and serological tests respectively, shear wave velocity(SWV) values werecompared among different serological indexes and degree of renal damage;to explore the clinical value of SWV value evaluate glomerular disease renal damage in children. Results: SWV of glomerular disease group and normal kidney had no significant differences(P > 0.05); there were no significant differences of SWV among group of renal glomerular disease renal damage and different serological test results( P > 0.05).Conclusion: ARFI technology have some limitations in the assessment of the early glomerular disease in children, and application prospect of ARFI in the terminal stage of chronic kidney disease needs further exploration.
