| The prevalence of Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) is rapidly increasing worldwide in parallel with the increase in obesity. But the effect of lifestyle intervention and drug therapy is limited. The existing studies have shown that bariatric surgery can treat obesity and NAFLD by reducing weight and visceral fatty deposition, and then improving liver function and histology. In this review, we summarize the bariatric surgery and NAFLD,as well as the research progress of bariatric surgery on obese patients with NAFLD. |
