BackgroundMSM(Men who have sex with Men) has become the most important vulnerable groups of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) because of its special high-risk sexual behaviors. Due to special orientation, MSM has been in the edge of mainstream culture, under great psychological pressure and prone to mental problems such as anxiety, depression and suicide.Moreover, anxiety and depression are always comorbid. Anxiety and depression symptoms are enhanced. People have depression associated with anxiety have more severe depression symptoms than those just have depression. Similarly, people have anxiety associated with depression have more severe anxiety symptoms than those just have anxiety. Anxiety,depression and other psychological problems among MSM is associated with high risk behavior and HIV infection. However, the existing research only investigate the relationship between individual psychological factors and HIV/AIDS related behaviors, the relationship with CAD(Comorbid anxiety and depression) needs further research. So understandingpsychology situations and anxiety depression comorbid of MSM have great significance to prevent HIV infection, strategy, determine the input.ObjectiveTo study the situations of anxiety, depression, CAD(comorbid anxiety and depression) and their association with HIV high risk behaviors among MSM and to provide the theoretical basis for conduct more effective comprehensive intervention measures, so as to To improve the mental health and reduce the risk of HIV infection among MSM.Methods1. Epidemiological methods : Choose western region of China(Chongqing, Mianyang, Suining seven cities) as the investigation sites.Snowball method, network r was used to recruit research objects and questionnaire-investigation was adopted to collect data.2. Data inputting and analysis software: Epidata3.0 was used to input data; SAS9.1 and R3.0.1 software were used for statistics analyzing.3. Data analysis methods: use IRT to screen people with bigger deviation and use chi-square to analysis difference and logistic regression were used to analysis influence factors of Anxiety, Depression and CAD.Results1. AS rasch model shown,112 people(12.96%) responded not fitting in Rasch model on anxiety scale, while 104 people, accounted for12.04% responded not fitting in Rasch model on depression scale sample;676 people(78.24%) were fitting in Rasch model in this study. Moreover,the results reliability test of anxiety scale and depression scale showed:After eliminate abnormal samples, Cronbach’s a coefficient of anxiety scale increased from 0.797 to 0.811 and Cronbach’s a coefficient of depression scale increased from 0.836 to 0.844.2. The rate of anxiety was 29.73% and that of depression was 46.01%.The positive rate of comorbidity of anxiety and expression was 25%. 84.08 percent of MSM with anxiety was considered comorbiding depression,while 54.34 percent with depression was considered comorbiding anxiety.3. Anxiety was effected by educational level, sexual orientation and unprotected anal sex(P<0.05). Educational level was higher, the lower the detection rate of anxiety. Bisexual had more anxiety symptoms than gay(0R=1.831). Unprotected anal sex can increased the risk of anxiety symptoms among MSM(OR = 1.849).4. The influence factors of depression was sexual orientation, and oral sex(P<0.05); Bisexual had more anxiety symptoms than gay(OR=1.878)and oral sex can increased the risk of Depression symptoms among MSM(OR = 1.674).5. Comorbid anxiety and depression(CAD) was influenced by educational level, sexual orientation, commercial services, number of female sexual partner and unprotected anal sex. The educational level was higher, the lower the detection rate of CAD. Bisexual had more seriousCAD symptoms than gay(OR=1.719). MSM with more female sexual partners had higher probability of CAD(OR=5.063). Commercial sex(OR=2.645)and unprotected anal sex(OR=4.235)can increased the risk of CAD.
