Along with individuals’ living standards have created an increase in health consciousness. Health self-management grows more and more important in our daily life. Wearable devices which can be carried in one’s daily life provide sensory features and present human health or environment information in real time, becoming an effective means in self-management. Depending on the broad applications of social network, wearables users can share their own information online, generating health self-report behavior.This research has established influencing factors of health self-report performance framework and developed hypothesis. Depending on data fetching technology, data from Sina Weibo has been collected and analysised to test the research model.Health self-report performance is divided into two parts in this research, namely health performance(health-realted performance, such as steps) and behavioral performance(such as report frequency). We explore the impact of online identity, offline identity and social support on self-report health and behavioral performance based on Impression Management Theory and Self-management. 988 users’ health self-report and 652 personal data was collected to examine the impact of social identity and social support on health self-report performance.The results show that social identity, especially offline identity, affacts self-report health performance significantly, and social support makes a significantly impact on self-report behavioral performance. In theory, this research provides and enriches theory base and methods for the future research on health self-management and health self-report behavior. In practice, this research makes commendations for wearables providers and social network platform design, and offers suggestions on promoting wearable user’s self-management performance.
