The Research On The Pictophonetic Characters On " Copying Ancient Text Editing"

Based on the configuration of ancient Phonograms, this thesis selects Copying AncientCharacters, which are the objects of this thesis, from Xu Zaiguo’s Copying Ancient Text todescribe the configuration system objectively and comprehensively, and then reveal itsconfiguration rule.This thesis is composed of5chapters. Chapter1is the introductory part, in which therelevant copying ancient materials and the research situation, the defined methods of CopyingAncient Characters and arrangement principles will be presented. In chapter2, sources andstructures of Copying Ancient Characters will be introduced on the basis of previousresearches. According to the characteristics of ancient Chinese phonograms, the sources canbe grouped into the following8categories: increase the determinative, increasing soundcharacter, replace the determinative, replace phonetic symbol, sound is changed, just soundsymbols, cumulative morpheme, sound with benefits. The structures are divided into thefollowing3categories: typical characters, typical, atypical phonogram characters. Chapter3is about copying ancient phonogram meaning symbol system, which consists of the semanticsystem description, semantic function study of phonetic symbol, allogeneic meaning relation,semantic interoperability analysis. Chapter4is about the research of copying ancient phoneticsymbol system, including the phonetic symbol system description, function, the interactionbetween phonetic symbols of variant characters phonetic symbol. Chapter5has acomparative analysis of Chu characters and ancient Chinese phonograms from configurationand the perspectives of quantity. The last chapter is the conclusion. In order to study the wordfrequency,the thesis have done the analysis from the systemic perspectives of sound symbols,symbols of meaning, and found that the word frequency of sound symbols, symbols ofmeaning in ancient Chinese phonograms is relatively low, and sound symbols, semantic classlevel is not high, and relatively weak; meanwhile, the word frequency of sound symbols,semantic symbols of Chu characters aims to find the values of ancient Chinese phonogramsin the view of the characters configuration.
