| In the period from the mid of1950s to the early1980s, a great compaignof sending down educated youth to the country side was in progress.Because ofits huge scale, long duration and legendary process,this compaign was recognizedas the one of those greatly shocking events in china society, and attracted moreand more attention from domestic and foreign scholars.The domestic research about those educated youth started from the end of1970s and early1980s.In the recent30years,there had gotten many excitingfoundings,but faults still existed.specially,an obviously fault was short offocusing on region researh.Zhejiang Province have more people with narrow territory.Such a particularcondition put smoe affect to the mode of the compaign, and maybe make it expresssome features differently with those chinses inland provinces.To explore thoseproblems, a better method is to choose a researching sample.In1960’s and1970’s, the developement indexes of Huangyan County were around at the average levelof Zhejiang Province, and it also was a important county in this compaign.Sothese factors bring this county with sample value to us.Another side, base onthose research findings of the last35years and those open files of all archivesin Taizhou District, we are to choose Huangyan for researching the compaign howto run in a county with enough sources gurantee.So this thesis will extend totalk about such a topic.The first charpter include5parts, namely the cause and sense of this topic,the illustration of related conception, the narration and evaluation of educatedyouth researching at present, the researching blue map and methods, and the keypoints, the difficult points, the merits and creations of the researching.The second charpter mainly talk about the background and survey of thecompaign in Huangyan County.Author has a viewpoint:1955to1965is a periodof a certain mode gradully shaping up, and this period include5phases, anddifferent task was complished in every phase to make foundation for the compaignof many years.Huangyan is a county with early execution of the compaign.This is a result of national policy, also a choice of this county under such conditionof more people with narrow territory and limited empolymentopportunities.Huangyan executed the compaign for26years, starting from theaction of the Dachen Wenzhou Youth Volunteer Reclamation Team in1955to1960,ending with the repeal of the educated youth office of The State Council.Therewas two climax in the period, and there had more than13000educated youth tobe sent down to countryside to make Huangyan No.1in all counties of TaizhouDistrct.The third charpter mainly talk about settlement work of the compaign,including mobilizing object, how to mobilize, main proceedings, settlementdirection and form, some important problems, and treatment of empolyer of theeducated youth office, etc.All point mentioned in this charpter show us outlineof settlement work.The forth charpter narrates and evaluates daily work and life of the educatedyouth in Huangyan County in details, including revolutionization trials of dailylife, high politicalizeation of intellectual life, the relationship amongstofficials, peasants and educated youth,some key problems of return city, whatmeasures the government adopted to fix educated youth in village?The fifth charpter illustrates how the compaign in Huangyan County went toend? Including5parts as follows: the prophesy of epilogue, an analysis toeducated youth return action in this period from1975to1981, how to settlethose educated youth who returned city? how to use the capital for supportingproduction? how to clear the funds and materials specially for educated youth?how to settle the educated youth with serious disablility and disease?The sixth charpter make a overall and objective evaluation to the campaignin Huangyan County.Author has those viepoint as follows: Huangyan County tookover a very important position in the compaign in Taizhou District, but onlyhaving smaller influence in the compaign in Zhejiang Province, such a performancewas not corresponded with the important county position in the compaign ofZhejiang; the compaign in Huangyan County had five features: lag of high tide,always accompanied with some big political action, maily settled educated youth in local village,mainly settelment form is to send down educated youth tocontryside and give them a peasant ID; the comaign has three imprtant tasks,the first is “training the successor of the revolutionary cause of proletariat”,the second is “constructing new village of socialism society”, the third is“eliminating three differences”;Those idealities certainly were sublime, butno one realized, the causes of failure include6elements: short of practicalbenefits to drive the public, low execution ability of party and governmentoffices, three kinds of enroll sharp the crisis of the compaign, short fo interreform power of village, solution did not fit with actual needs of village, thereis a inevitable shortcoming of policy death subsequantly with politicalauthority disappearance.Though the compaign had finished.But as a social experiment in chinseshistory with big scale and lofty taget, its influence still effect consistentlyand show profound, and its history value still fartherly do not being foundedat all.Nowadays, china has gone into unexcepted reformation area, and havingto face many problems similarly as the ones existed in that period, for example,shaping the nuclear outlook of value, training problem of youth, employmentproblem, agriculture,village and peasant problem, etc.One important functionof history is to konwing how something to be so and what to be valueful referencefor us.So, reviewing the compaign that had pasted more than30years fromdifferent angles of view, that is not only a very important scholar project butalso a duty for history scholars.This thesis is aimed to renew the findings anddevelope new viewpoints, if having some facults, pls give your advices. |
