Chinese painting has a long history for thousands of years and is an important part oftraditional culture, the Chinese nation with its own attitude stands among the fine arts of theworld. Chinese painting as one of the forms of art and culture in China, after one thousand yearsof development and innovation, and become the treasure of Chinese national culture and thecrystallization of the wisdom of the people. Traditional Chinese painting teaching has been oneof the important content in the teaching of art. In higher normal university fine arts educationprofessional, traditional Chinese painting teaching plays a particularly important role, becausethe level of the traditional Chinese painting teaching, geared to the needs of the students is thefuture work in the first line of the fine arts teachers of primary and secondary schools. Theyshould not only master the basic knowledge of Chinese painting, writing skills, as well astraditional Chinese painting and the traditional cultural spirit than teach primary and middleschool students, to improve students’ aesthetic ability, cultivate a "moral, intellectual, physical,the United States" all-round development of qualified personnel, which also make Chinesepainting continuously carried forward.Higher normal colleges and universities in xinjiang art education and art education innormal colleges in mainland China, however, have their own characteristics, such as regional,national, religious and so on. In the process of reform and development of traditional Chinesepainting education constantly, xinjiang fine arts education of Chinese painting teaching in normalcolleges are also facing the same situation, continuous reform and innovation at the same time.So, higher normal colleges and universities in xinjiang art education majors have what problem?The fine arts education of professional education of Chinese painting should achieve what kindof? Primary and middle school students can through the art of Chinese painting and Chinesetraditional culture to produce the correct understanding? Art teachers of higher normal collegesand universities is in line with the objective demand of primary and middle school students?Whether can inheritance and carry forward Chinese traditional culture and national spirit art?Whether can withstand the impact of cultural globalization and integration, do traditional culturehanded down from generation to generation is not bad? These are all involved in this paper, andstrive to solve the problem.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part, mainly in xinjiang art education innormal colleges of traditional Chinese painting teaching of historical background, socialenvironment, special, teaching present situation, the philosophy, as well as Chinese paintingeducation in normal colleges and discusses the relationship between the ethnic traditional culture.The second part, combined with primary and secondary school students learning Chinesepainting, analysis the xinjiang higher normal education of fine arts professional talents training objectives, curriculum setting, methods and other problems. The third part, in view of the arteducation in normal colleges of Xinjiang traditional Chinese painting teaching problems,combined with the current situation of the development of Chinese education, to explore thecorresponding solution countermeasures, both to inheriting traditional culture, and to resist thechallenge of multi-cultural constantly blaze new trails, out of the development road with Chinesecharacteristics of Chinese painting education, cultivate suitable for social demand of aestheticeducation of primary and secondary schools teachers.
