The living standards in China has improved since21st century.With the needs of people’s material and spiritual increasing,people need to increase their own inner experience and emotionalattention more than ever. On the other hand,the psychologicalpressure of people is increasing with the fast-paced life andintense external competition, resulting in more psychologicalproblems.undergraduates are facing monotony of school life, thefierce competition in the exam, the life processes of compressionand interpersonal conflicts. These are sources of stress. The heavypsychological pressure on them lead to psychological imbalance,and the impact of their mental healthy. When facing the pressurein the life, the social support from family members will providea strong psychological capital.However, for single-parent children of divorced parents,social support from family greatly reduced. The breakdown of theparental relationship is bound to cause emotional shock,thegreatest impact on vulnerable children. Therefore, thepsychological problems of children of divorced single parentfamilies should be the psychology of the important issues. TheUnited States and other Western countries as early as studied fromschool psychologists, but China started late, mainly focus on single-parent families from the perspective of cognitive,emotional and social adjustment. Previous studies did notdistinguish between different types of single-parent families,and a general understanding of the students’ psychologicalproblems,limited explanatory power; awareness that some researchdivorced single parent family,rarely involves the analysis offactors affecting the mental healthy of students, only focused onthe description of the status quo. Start from the point of view ofthe mental healthy research on divorce psychological problems ofcildren in single-parent families, there may be, and trying tofind out why, and propose targeted counseling measures, thedevelopment of their psychological health.In this paper, based on the MHT (mental healthy diagnosis test),the questionnaire on the family environment scale and theself-supporting personality of undergraduates, and then use theSPSS software to finish data analysis. That single-parent familiesundergraduates overall level of mental healthy is lower thanundergraduates of the two-parent families, because ofthesignificant differences in the mental healthy impact ofundergraduates and different family environment andSelf-supporting personalitys,the study found that single-parentfamilies of high school students in the intimacy and emotional expression factor significantly is lower than the whole familiesand undergraduates in complete families. The independence of highschool students in single-parent families is much better than thestudents in complete families.Single-parent families should morefully understand the family environment and upbringing these allthe seriousness and urgency,in particular,to strengthen the lovein the family environment factors,a good growing environment forthe children of construction to promote the development of the bodyand mind of the children of single-parent families.
