Reduplication form AABB of double syllable adjective was fairly conventionallinguistic expression in overlapped structure of Chinese, also was one of theemphases and difficulties in teaching of Chinese as a second language forinternational students. From the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this article focused on the grammar point “Reduplication form AABB of doublesyllable adjective” in the process of Chinese acquisition, proceeding targeted andsystematic exploration of errors analysis and the teaching material arrangement.Andthus the author put forward some countermeasures for the classroom instruction andtextbook compilation.On the premise of clearing the subject within the scope of the subject research,the author combined with its development background and research findings in thedual academic sector of modern Chinese language and teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage to explore the status-quo about the acquisition of “Reduplication formAABB of double syllable adjective” for international students,using mathematicalstatistics, comparative analysis, the errors analysis with the help of informationchannels such as books, documents, web search and so on.The author divided error types into structure misuse and improper grammaticalcollocations, making concrete data statistics and characteristic analysis about thespecific branch errors.Taking this as foundation, the author made comprehensive andeffective inquiry related to causes of errors.Furthermore, the author took three sets ofChinese teaching materials New practical Chinese reader3, New Chinese tutorial1and BoYa Chinese (primary) as available references in terms of the text example,grammar notes, the exercises, the recurrence to study the layout of textbook content.Finally, the author presented improved suggestions on classroom teaching andtextbook writing combining the reasons for errors, in view of specific errors as wellas the textbook analysis referring to “Reduplication form AABB of double syllableadjective”, and made the summery indicating the innovative points and limitations onthe whole.
