The paper discusses the connotation and characteristics of subjectivity andtranslator’s subjectivity based on literature review. The paper studies the translator’ssubjectivity in journalism translation under the condition that the translator’ssubjectivity is mainly applied in literature translation at present. By analyzing andcomparing the typical journalism cases written in Chinese and English, he authorelaborates the manifestations of translator’s subjectivity exerting itself at the level oflanguage and culture in order to achieve effective communication. The paperconcludes the effects given by translator’s subjectivity and the restrictions on it. Thepaper provides the reference value and guiding significance for future journalismtranslation studies and practice.
