| Borrowed verbal quantifiers as one class of Chinese quantifiers, it has thenature of openness, the productivity of quantity and the materiality of individualmembers, it’s the most dynamic class of Chinese quantifier. This paper dividedborrowed verbal quantifiers into two kinds, they are verbal quantifiers borrowedfrom nouns and verbal quantifiers borrowed from verbs. The first kind can alsodivide into five kinds, they are quantifiers about time, quantifiers about organs,quantifiers about tools, quantifiers about result and quantifiers about use the lastmorpheme in clutch word. The later one can divide into two kinds, they are the verb“jumpâ€,“shockâ€, and overlapping verbs. This paper also analysis these borrowedverbal quantifiers in semantic way.From the third chapter of this paper, writer designed a questionnaire which isabout the borrowed verbal quantifiers for the students who came from differentuniversity and d learning stages. Then writer gave the same questionnaire to studentsin different level so that she could know the condition of acquisition with borrowedverbal quantifiers for foreign students in different level, then she could speculate thatevery kind of borrowed verbal quantifiers and related knowledge are learned inwhich level by foreign students. This questionnaire four questions which are choice,multiple choice, correct mistake, make sentence in right order.In summing up the acquisition situation in different levels of the borrowedverbal quantifiers, the fourth chapter of this paper puts forward some suggestionsabout borrowed verbal quantifiers in teaching Chinese as a foreign language forthose questions about foreign students’ learning. These suggestions are payingattention to the importance of borrowed verbal quantifiers, trying different teachingmethod like packet teaching, teaching in context and body language; noticing theword structure which consisting of borrowed verbal quantifiers, verbs and numerals;using the teaching materials which close to our life.
