Academic circles have been paying close attention to the concept of theAestheticization of daily life. However, there is not so much study on the veryAestheticization of daily life coined by Walter Benjamin. Despite the fact that theAestheticization of daily life is put forward in modern society, the writer finds that asearly as the time between the19th century and the20th century, the theory related to theAestheticization of daily life could be found, and Baudelaire, Benjamin and Simmel haddealt with this subject. Benjamin believed that the Aestheticization of daily lifeassociated with technology and is influenced by the development of consumerism.Therefore, this thesis discusses Benjamin’s ideas from the perspective of technology andconsumerism and makes an analysis of the Aestheticization of daily life based on thetwo factors. |
