Punctuation is an integral part of the written language, it is used to indicate a pause and express emotional statement, It plays a supporting role when using the words to record language. When we conduct, we will use punctuation, it is of particular importance. Students who studying abroad in learning Chinese cultural knowledge, should also learn the study of Chinese punctuation. However, many students did not notice it, it result in the emergence of a variety of errors, the situation is not optimistic.By finding relevant information, we found that, on the whole, the current research on teaching students how to use Chinese punctuation is not very good, and therefore it is very necessary to carry out error conditions when Mongolian students use the Chinese punctuation and research on the related teaching strategies.It Based on the current situation with respect to the status of teaching students at home and abroad to use punctuation and combined with a variety of exercises for use of punctuation of Mongolia students’materials, It showed the characteristics and common punctuation error in Writing. I summed up the result in the errors for several reasons by the detailed classification and analysis. According to the wrong reasons, I provide a number of targeted teaching strategies:Students must give full play to their initiative and focuse on the usual practice, through their own efforts and guidance of teachers to improve their Chinese written expression levels; teachers must strengthen their own understanding for punctuation and use of the symbols, they must teach the students how to use punctuation and how to avoid mistakes patiently;we must make detailed provisions about the goals,content and so on at the time of writing books and as far as possible to prepare scientific rationalization of teaching materials.After presented this series of teaching strategies, it can provide favorable reference for punctuation teaching practice, helping Mongolian students to reduce the use of Chinese punctuation mistakes in writing and to understand the role of punctuation better.when they master its usage, they can achieve the purpose of studying abroad.
