The survival of human emotional activities has important adaptive value. It is theindividual physical and mental adaptation, including safety, food, and formed in thecourse of evolution of human high-level requirements, such as resections, beautiesand so on. Emotional activities had a huge impact on cognitive process. Negativeemotional state was negative to mental health, social adaptation and even highercognitive activity interferes. Bad mood often interfere with the working memory, executive control, higher cognitive activities such as reasoning and decision-making,reducing work efficiency. Researches revealed that, comparing with positive stimulus;people are more sensitive to the negative stimulus. While, among the emotionalstudies, how to choose one or more kinds of emotional stimulus correctly? Thesequestions have theory and useful meaning for the valence of negative emotion. This research would be based on the theory of basic emotions, using hightemporal resolution of event related potential technology, from behavioral andcognitive psychology, electrophysiology, to explore the basic meaning of emotionaldimension in the International affective picture system and Chinese affective picturesystem. At the same time, based on the theory of emotional dimension, explore thesensitive of the valence of disgusting and fearful emotion. The result showed: Negative emotions in the basic dimensions with no cleardistinction, the interdependence between the various emotions and interference;Formal experiment found that the sensitive to the difference valence of disgusting wasfound in P2and LPC stage [P2: F(2,13)=9.170, p=0.003, η2=0.58;LPC:F(2,13)=6.716, p<0.01, η2=0.379]]. In both stage, the extreme disgusting evokeda larger amplified than moderate disgusting. For fearful, the sensitive to the differentvalence was mainly showed between the moderate fearful pictures and neural pictureswas in P2and N2stage[P2:F(2,13)=5.573, p=0.018, η2=0.46; N2: F(2,13)=5.863,p=0.015,η2=0.47].The conclusion was:1.For negative emotions, there are some pictures in thebasic emotional dimension expression co-existence and their expressions wereinfluenced by cultural background and experiment.2. The sensitive of valencedifference in disgusting and fearful were partly consistent with negative emotion. Fordisgusting, it was showed in the early attentional stage and later memory stage.3. Forfearful, the sensitive to valence differences were showed in the early attentional stageand the super limitation would inhibit the reaction to extreme fearful stimulus.
