Animal emblazonry, as one of “the three elements of the Scythian”, hasbeen very abundant and important in the northern steppe culture and Eurasiasteppe ancient cultures. The implements which were unearthed from theUpper Xiajiadian cultural have a lot of animal emblazonries. And theseanimal emblazonries have different kinds of unique style. These animalemblazonries are representative of the highest artistic standard during thesame period and outshine others in the Great Wall area of China. Animalemblazonry is a microcosm of the upper Xiajiadian culture. And it isprovided with diversified cultural structure and is associated with theemblazonries which were found in other northern areas of the Great Wall.The animal emblazonries of the Upper Xiajiadian cultural were mainlyfound in the middle and downstream reach of the LaoHa River. A largenumber of exquisite implements with animal emblazonry were unearthedthere. I will do an Archaeological integration of the animal emblazonrywhich appeared in the reaches of the LaoHa River of the Upper Xiajiadiancultural in my thesis. I will make a preliminary analysis of combinedcharacteristics and distributed situation, and then probe into the socialfunction and cultural factor of the animal emblazonry.This article will divided the animal emblazonry which were found fromthe LaoHa River in Upper Xiajiadian cultural into different style based on the feature. According to the style of animal emblazonry and graves, gravescan be devided into three levels, and then find regular from them in order towhich social levels they belong to. We can find the founction on decorationand social in animal emblazonry in Upper Xiajiadian. Based on the research,this article will analyze the charactistics of animal emblazonry’s culture ofUpper Xiajiadian which based on the comparation with archaeology culture.It exists the culture structure of diversity in unity in animal emblazonry. thedevelopment of animal emblazonry in Upper Xiajiadian mixed withdifferent culture, which have an influence on the archaeology culture inanimal emblazonry.The study on the animal emblazonry of the Upper Xiajiadian culturestrives to highlight the importance of the animal emblazonry on the resultsof the abundant datum and research achievement. The purpose of this studyis to uncover the internal relation between the structure of animalemblazonry and the society at that time and the development of the animalemblazonry.
