On The Flower Drum Dance-taking The Play"wangsanjie In The Fair"as An Example

Anhui flower lantern opera, one of local operas, originates in the Huaihe River area, Anhui province. It is popular in Huaiyuan county and Fengtai county. Flower Drum Dance is initiated in Changhuaiwei village, Bengbu city. Taking the play "Wangsanjie in the fair" as an example, this thesis then analyzes the background for its creation and musical characteristics, thus figuring out the relationship among Fengyang folk songs, Flower Drum Dance and Fengyang Flower Lantern Plays. On the basis of a better understanding, this work can be played and handled well.
