Under the circumstances of global economic integration, the oriental literature has also gradually received attention with the economic dominance from the West to the East. One particularly striking is the merchants’ historical novels between China and Korea.This paper is centered on "the biography of Hu Xueyan," which was written by Gaoyang and "Business," which was written by Cui Renhao those are the two representative recent merchants’ historical novels of China and Korea. Based on the previous studies to carry out a comparative study of the business channel of Hu Xueyan and Lin Shangwo from their personal mercantile development stage:The formation period(childhood), The peak period(adult), Twilight(old age). Looking for the merchants of China and Korea reflect similarities and differences in the formation of their commercial spirit and values of wealth.Although Hu Xueyan and Lin Shangwo were born in poor families in the19th century, they had suffered from all sorts of hardship during their childhood and eventually becoming a famous contemporary giant. To be two controversial historical figures in the modern enterprises with boldness of vision as well as the long-term vision. They became the process of wealthy merchants have many similarities. Although they were in different countries and political environments, they have set a credit in political riots. They do not just amass possessions and learn to restore the nation and society typical businessman and a model for our society by their superior commercial methods and sleek personal relations, good talent management and decent manner of dealing with people and the heart of charity.As a special topic of historical novels, there exists an intrinsic correlation between the two historical figures and the protagonist because of the author’s intention, creative styles, the requirements of the times, readers’ aesthetic requirements and some other factors are also closely related. In addition, through the comparison with the hero of the two rival competitors, indirectly describes the hardships of contemporary business magnate.
