| The development of film, from silent film to sound film, from black-and-white film tocolor film, is accompanied by technological revolution each step further. Every technologicalrevolution gives rise to fundamental changes in the form of artistic expression of film andtelevision. Nowadays, the development of3D technology, which leads the trend of the times,changes the traditional means of expression of the film and television art, elevates the filmand television art to a new level, and provides the audience with fresh new auditoryenjoyment.With the advent of the3D era, documentaries, as a form of expression of film andtelevision art, have gradually become integrated to3D technology and the new favorite of3Dtechnology. The technology has been developed in many countries. As its unique form ofexpression is more realistic and three-dimensional, it has gradually changed people’s viewinghabits and lifestyles, and accelerated the globalization process. Thus, it has become a newcultural factor. However, nowadays, theoretical inquiries on3D documentaries are relativelylagging behind. Though the technology develops in full swing, the corresponding theoreticalresearch is in great deficiency.The birth and development of any technology or artistic expression means will beaccompanied by certain cultural appeal. The application of3D technology in the creation ofdocumentaries is not by chance but inevitable due to the development of the film andtelevison art and digital technology. This paper devotes its five chapters to the study on3Danthropological documentaries and the impact of3D technology on3D documentaries inreference to film theory, anthropological theory, sociological theory and communicationtheory.Chapter One introduces3D technology and anthropological documentaries with threesections. Section One gives a general introduction to the development of3D technology;Section Two describes the noumenal study of anthropological documentary; Section Threedescribes the evolution of the anthropological documentary.Chapter Two is dedicated to thecreative principles of documentaries and elaborates the development of3D documentarieswith the support of new technologies, on the basis of a better understanding of3D technologyand documentaries.Chapter Three illustrates the feasibility of anthropology documentariessupported by3D technology from various perspectives.Chapter Four analyzes the needs ofcontemporary youth audience of the3D documentary and the channels through which theyget access to the it through the “questionnaire to investigate the needs and contact channels of3D documentaryâ€. Chapter Five summarizes the future development of anthropologicaldocumentary with3D technology by analyzing the whole text. |
