The Study Of Guangxi Documentary’s Development

Guangxi documentary plays an important role in the history and development of Chinese documentary,however.In this paper,after collecting plenty of historical materials about Guangxi documentary,combining them with relevant historical thories and the features of Guangxi documentary,I come up with a stage division in allusion to the development of Guangxi documentary:the incubation stage before reform and openness;the progressive development stage after reform and openness and the pluralism development stage.From the historical return to the present, this paper adopts the research from the perspective of communication studies, based on the analysis on the dissemination of content, mode of transmission and dissemination.Firstly,I chose typical Guangxi documentaries as my research objects, analyzed of five aspects of their characteristics on genre, theme, structure, their storytelling way aspects and narrative point of view.The ultimate goal of creating documentaries is to spread them and have a certain influence,so I studied the spreading modes of these Guangxi documentaries, in order to realize effective communication and expand their influence in the future. I also studied the main creators of these documentaries, and I think those creators of Guangxi TV Station are actively seeking a breakthough point to make their documentaries more market-oriented. Creators from Nanning TV Station are more authentic to original ecologyl;while other local TV Station are still abiding by, though the creative environment is unfavorable.The documentaries from folk ceration group are more personlized.Through the study on documentaries, mode of transmission and group analysis, this paper analyses the problems existed in the development of Guangxi documentaries’s problems and put forwards some suggestions. It thinks can change creative thinking, cultivate the ASEAN brand,launch documentary channel and explore the market.
