Entertainment media is widely exist in adolescents’daily life, and has become young students’important way of entertaining. Among all media, video has been widely used and popular in youth groups as well as the weibo, news and entertainment websites because of its vitality and attraction. Studies have demonstrated that video can effectively induce individual’s certain emotion. In recent years, people began to pay more attention to study the effects of entertainment media on positive emotions, and consider it to be an available and effective resource on adolescents’Emotional adjustment when in pressure situations. Differ from concerns of the negative impact, how to effectively use video as a large and convenient resources for adolescent psychological intervention is of more for theoretical and practical value to both media research and the development of psychological intervention.The main purpose of this research is to explore the impact of the entertainment media on teenagers’positive emotions, personal capital and mental health, including the discussion on the following issues:1) whether different types of media content can effectively stimulate some different and independent positive emotions, what’s the effect over time;2) what’s the effect of the media-based positive psychological intervention on teenagers’personal capital;3) what’s the effect of the intervention on adolescents’emotion, stress, goal-oriented motivation and behavior;4) what’s the effect of the intervention on adolescents’mental health;5) explore the relationship between positive emotions, personal capital and mental health on teenagers.This experiment is designed as experiment group-control group and front-back test. The comparisons of these experimental groups’test results demonstrated that:1) comedy generates amusement, inspirational clip generates hope, nature clip generates calm, which means that different types of media content can inspire some different and independent positive emotions;2) comedy can improve the level of optimism, hope, and resilience of teenagers; inspirational clip can improve adolescents’level of optimism and hope; The effect may be kept for a period of time;3) after the intervention, comedy group reported more perception of social support, and the effect can last for a period of time, but social quality has no significant change;4) all of three experimental groups reported less stress and negative emotions, as well as more neutral emotions; the comedy and inspirational film can increase teenagers’positive emotions;5) inspirational clips can improve teenagers’levels of approach motivation, goal-oriented efforts, and can reduce avoidance motivation;6) comedy and natural clips have a positive role on relieve teenagers’ anxiety and depression;7) youths’ psychological capital plays an intermediary role between positive emotions and mental health, but the same effect of social capital was not significant.
