Due to the Russian Emperor Alexander II in1881,Eestern Europen erupted viodentanti-Semitism movement.From the early1880s to the early20th century, thousands ofEastern Euopen Jews were forced to leave their homeland,another great immigration beganin the history of Jewish nation. Because of differences in cultural awareness,habits andreligious beliefs, British resident Jews frequently conflict with the Jews in Eastern Europencountries. On the other hand, Jews also caused a varity of social problems. So ananti-Semitic limit immigration movement in Britain. In1905the British government issuedthe Alien Act, it curb the Eastern Europen Jewish immigrants to a certain extant, it was notuntil the First World War to quell the immigration.After the outbreak of the First World War, in1916the British government introducedthe compulsory conscription, for humanitarian reasons, the army ruled out Russian-bornJews who are in line with the conditions. Englishman were very discontent, so the conflictbetween Jews and UK residents occurred ofently. The British government was forced toabandon the1916voluntary conscription, and signed the Anglo-Russian Military ServiceAgreenent with Russian.After the First World War under the influence of international wave of anti-Semitism,the anti-semitism groups appeared in Britain, their forces continue to strengthen, but theywere crackdowned by British democracy policical. In1993Hilter rose to national power,from then on, Germany stepped up the pace for aggression and expansion, and strucked atJews in Germany and its occupied area, thousands of Jewish refugees flocked to Britain.British People have different attitude towards Jewish refugees,wich in a bit more sympathythan blame and rejection. Fearing the rise of domestic anti-Semitism, in order to safeguardthe interests of the nation, British government’s Jewish refugees policy has changedseveral times, eventually restored the bill about limiting the Jewish refugees, and strictlycontrol the number of Jewish refugees.Compared to Russia, Germany and other European countries, British anti-semitism isrelatively mild, it should benefite from the British democratic tradition. It is because of theexcellent British democratic tradition, the British anti-Semitism was to provice a space fordevelopment, when it exceeds the tolerance range of British democracy, it will besuppressed.
