HuangTing Scripture, as a classic of the Taoism, was widely spread from Wei and Jin dynasty toTang and Song dynasty and was transferred and depicted by calligraphers in that age. Thepoetries written by Li Po make this classic more legendary and a disputable anecdote incalligraphy history. As the common classic of calligraphy and Taoism, HuangTing Scripture waswritten and chanted in different attitudes by scholars and Taoists. These factors such as“Gorgeous writing style”;“Medium between mortals and deities” and “Meditating beforewriting” are the direct reasons why people like it. Interaction between writing of scholars andchanting of Taoists reflects the impacts of Taoism while calligraphers writing the HuangTingScripture. Also, the spread of this classic often depends on calligraphy.
